Halloween!

Halloween is the scariest holiday. We went to a neighborhood party at one of my teacher’s house.  And we got a lot of candy. I got 2 king size twix. I went as Tony Hawk. I got to ride my skateboard around the neighborhood.

My friends were also at the party, and some people from my school.

The first house we went to they kind of gave us candy. The 2nd house gave us king size candy bars. That was my favorite house.

Then we saw one of my friends her name was Elie. She’s also in my class. The next house gave us lots of candy. My favorite candy is king size Crunch. I like it because it is crunchy and it has chocolate in it.

My favorite costumes were worn by my friends. Daniel was a sniper and Ross was a hunter. My 2nd favorite costume was a minion it’s my 2nd favorite because it was thoughtful and they made some of it.

Movie Review: Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

This past weekend I got to attend a screening of the new Disney movie, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  It was awesome movie. My favorite part was the whole movie except the teenage girl puked 2 times and I didn’t like those parts.

My favorite part when the girl drank too much cold medicine and was dressed up as Peter-pan. Then she wrecked the stage.Then she puked again.

There were a lot of funny parts and people laughed a lot in the movie theater.  I thought the mom and dad were really funny, and the kids too.  I went with my grandpa.

The movie was really funny because there was a lot happening all the time.  It was also a nice movie about a nice family and was appropriate for all ages.  You should see the movie.

My favorite Video Games

My favorite xbox games are Skate3, Maden25, DisneyInfinty, Skate1, Need For Speed Undercover, Titandfall, Blackops2, Mincraft, Halo4 and Call of Duty.  My favorite game is Skate3.  I like it because it teaches you tricks on a skateboard. I want to learn how a ride a skateboard when I grow up.

My second favorite game is Minecraft. I like Minecraft because you can build stuff like roller coasters and a house.I also like it because you get to kill zombies, skeletons, spiders and creepers.

My third favorite game is Call Of Duty. I kind of like it because it’s all about war.My favorite part of it is campaign.  I like campaign because you get to drive tanks and ride helicopters.

I don’t like Skate1 most of the time it your game crashes.I also do to like because you can’t do that much tricks as in Skate3.Also most of the tricks are different controls.

Patrick meets a penguin!

His name is Cayenne (like the pepper). He’s the 3 month old penguin that I met at the Georgia Aquarium.
We got to walk around the aquarium and see all sorts of animals.  I got to touch a sting ray.  We also go to see otters. We got to see a giant whale shark and lots of other big fish.

But my favorite part of the day was touching Cayenne.
First we had to check in and wait for the penguin trainer to come get our group.  There were six other people in our group.
Then we went upstairs to a room with penguin stuff everywhere.  We had to put all of our stuff away, like cell phones, watches and hanging jewelry because they didn’t want the penguin to poke at it.
We waited for a few minutes then the penguin trainer came in with the penguin walking with him.  He picked up Cayenne and put him on a table that looked like an ice berg.  We all got to stand up and take pictures with him.  We were not allowed to touch him yet because he and to be retrained.  He had to get used to being in the room with new people so he didn’t bite us.

After everyone got pictures, the trainer put the penguin in the middle of the floor while we all sat around him in a circle. The first person the penguin walked over to was…me!
When he walked over to me, the trainer said I could pet him.  I could only pet him on his back, because the other places are sensitive. I was so excited and really happy to touch the penguin.  I really wanted to cry but didn’t.  The penguin felt softer than the softest kitten ever.
The trainer picked Cayenne up to move him to the other side of the room so other people could pet him, but he walked back over to me again!
I think he liked me because I was wearing a penguin shirt.  Or because he knows I’m the penguin king.
The trainer kept picking the penguin up and moving him again and again, but he kept coming back to me.
Cayenne is an African penguin who lives along the beaches of south Africa.  There are only about 5500 of these sorts of penguins left.  They are worried about extinction due to oil spills and people moving to the beaches where they live.
Cayenne was born at the aquarium and has a problem with his left eye.  He can’t see out of it very well. They expect him to live more than 20 years.
I hope that I can go to school to be a penguin trainer and go back to take care of Cayenne.
I’m just so happy that I got to meet him and it was the best day ever!
